Asena Baktır Altınoğlu
Graduating from Middle East Technical University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1995, she shaped her career in the field of sales. She specialized in the sales of technical products and systems, successfully leading numerous projects in areas such as team building, training, management processes, and sales revenue tracking. By establishing robust systems in human resource management, project monitoring, and sales strategy development, she delivered innovative solutions in the mechanical installation, industrial, and construction sectors. Leveraging her experience, she developed a unique working model for local manufacturing companies in Ankara and the Anatolian region. In particular, she has been structuring regional offices and sales networks for companies located outside of Ankara, building teams, providing training, and formulating strategic sales plans.

Zülfiye Atasoy
Zülfiye Atasoy was born in Ankara in 1993. She graduated from the Mechanical Engineering Department of Middle East Technical University in 2016. Following graduation, she began her career as a production development engineer in the Engine Production Directorate at TürkTraktör. During her four years in this position, she ensured production continuity by employing lean manufacturing strategies in engine machining, assembly, and testing processes, while also implementing improvements in quality and occupational health and safety practices. She successfully led the commissioning and all related production processes of the new locally manufactured engine with Stage-V emission standards. In 2020, she was appointed as a manager in the Body Production (Transmission-Machining) department, where she led a team of 180 field and 6 office employees, completing various development and improvement projects over the course of two years. Since 2022, she has been serving as the Factory Process (Production Method Monitoring-Improvement-New Projects, Investment) Manager. In this role, she and her team apply Agile methodologies to carry out process monitoring and method improvement projects across all production areas of the factory, including machining, assembly, logistics, and quality. In addition to her technical leadership, she serves as the Innovation, AI, and DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) ambassador for her organization. She has played significant roles in the implementation of various social responsibility and sustainability projects.

Dr. Mustafa Özgür Aydoğan
He graduated from METU Mechanical Eng'rg Department in 2000 and started working as a Research Assistant. He received his master's degree from the same department in 2003, his doctorate in 2022. He worked as a Maintenance Engineer at Dr Oetker and Enka-Power. In 2006, he started working as a Structural Analysis Engineer in A400M project at TUSAŞ. In 2008, he was delegated by Airbus as A400M Emergency Exit Door Stress Design Task Responsible. Later, he worked as a fatigue&damage tolerance engineer at the A350 project and GÖKBEY Transmission System Analysis and Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE). He is currently working as a Structural CVE for HÜRKUŞ-2, HÜRJET, HASASOJ, ÖZGÜR F-16 aircrafts at TUSAŞ and also as GÖKBEY Rotor-Tranmission Panel Specialist within the General Directorate of Civil Aviation.

Prof. Dr. Selin Aradağ Çelebioğlu
She received her BS and MS degrees from METU Mechanical Engineering Department in 2000 and 2002, and her PhD in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Rutgers University in 2006. She worked at the US Air Force Academy between 2006 and 2008. Between 2008 and 2019, she worked as a faculty member, vice chair of Mechanical Engineering department, and founding director of ETU Hidro Hydro Turbine Design and Test Center at TOBB University of Economics and Technology. She was the principal investigator of the MILHES project, where the first domestic hydro turbine was designed, manufactured, and put into operation, as well as many externally supported projects. She is the recipient of the Turkish Academy of Sciences Outstanding Young Scientist Award (TÜBA GEBİP) in 2010. She was selected as an Associate Fellow by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) in 2023. Between 2020-2024, she served as a member of the advisory board of TUBITAK TEYDEB-USETEG, editor-in-chief of the Journal of Thermal Science and Technology, and a member of the board of directors of the Thermal Science and Technology Association. She is a member of the executive board of the European Union COST action on the digital and sustainable transformation of hydro energy. Since joining TEDU in 2019, she has served as the Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the Dean of the TEDU Graduate School, and has been serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering since March 2023.

Buğra Çınaroğlu
He was born on November 5, 2003, in the Seydişehir district of Konya. At the age of 2, he moved to the Selçuklu district and started primary school at the age of 6. His interest in technology began around this time. He studied at Kazım Özenç Seçen Middle School and, at the age of 13, was admitted to Selçuklu Science High School. His interest in sports, particularly basketball, also began there. In 2021, he started his education in the Mechanical Engineering department at Middle East Technical University (ODTÜ), and he is currently in his 3rd year.
Murat Erkilet
He received his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from METU in 1986 and his master's degree in the same department in 1989. After completing his master’s, he obtained a diploma in the Turbomachinery Department from VKI in 1991. His professional career began as a research assistant in the Fluid Mechanics Laboratory of METU’s Mechanical Engineering Department from 1985 to 1991. From 1991 to 1998, he worked as a specialist on aviation and engine projects at the Undersecretariat for Defense Industries (SSM). Between 1991 and 2014, he served as Deputy General Manager at Gama Holding, focusing on industrial facility and energy projects. From 2014 to 2017, he worked as a consultant on industrial facility and power plant projects. Since 2017, he has been the Director of Hydro Projects at GE Vernova Renewable Energy. Additionally, since 2015, he has been a member of the Energy Working Group at the METU Alumni Association, serving as chairman for the 2016 term.

Gani Göral
He completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Middle East Technical University Mechanical Engineering Department and has also served as a Chief Engineer in the Engineering Development Directorate at Roketsan Company. He has provided consultancy for various projects under the Presidency of Defense Industries at STM Company, both in domestic and international project offices. He has worked primarily in mechanical design and analysis, as well as system design and analysis. He has been involved in Systems Engineering, Project Management, and Aircraft Airworthiness Certification. He completed the EMBA Program of TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE and SAHA Academy. He has served in NATO Working Groups and is currently working as a Defense and Aerospace Project Coordinator at BİAS Mühendislik Company. He is also a trainer within SAHA Academy and is involved in the OSTİM and ODTÜ Teknokent Defense Industry Clusters management boards.

Hakan İşçi
Hakan Isci is currently operating his own company HTM Design Inc. as CEO. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in mechanical engineering from Middle East Technical University, Turkey. Before founding HTM Design Inc. he assumed various engineering management roles in the Aerospace and Defence Industry. He worked as air vehicle design, technology management, and rotary wing technology center manager roles in the Turkish Aerospace Industry, and as a certification team leader role at STM Inc. He also worked as a design engineer at ETC Co. in the USA. Mr. Isci has over 30 years of experience in air platform development, certification, and simulation.

Prof. Dr. Bülent E. Platin
Received his mechanical engineering degree from ITU in 1969, worked at TUBITAK's Applied Mathematics Unit, received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from MIT in the U.S. in 1972 and 1978, respectively, worked as a faculty member at the METU Mechanical Engineering Department from 1978 till his retirement in 2014. Between 1988 and 1990, he was a Fulbright Scholar and Visiting Professor at the University of Connecticut in the U.S.A. and also taught at the Hartford Graduate Center of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. At METU, he served as the Vice Chairman of the Department of Mechanical Engineering from 1990 to 1992, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering from 1992 to 1997, and member of the Senate from 1998 to 2004. Between 2015 and 2021, he worked as a technical consultant at Roketsan. He taught at Bilkent University from 2015 to 2022 and has been teaching at METU since 2014. His research interests include system dynamics and control, position modeling and control of mechanical systems, mechatronic systems, nonlinear systems, and optimal control. During his tenure at METU, he has supervised about 50 graduate theses and has over 100 publications. He was the founding chairman of MÜDEK in 2003 and has served as chairman and member at several boards and evaluation teams, and instructor in training workshops in MÜDEK.

B. Tamer Şenyuva
Bünyamin Tamer Şenyuva was born on August 6, 1966, in Ankara. He graduated from Ankara Gazi High School in 1983 and studied Electrical-Electronics Engineering at Hacettepe University from 1983 to 1984. He then completed his undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering at METU (Middle East Technical University) between 1984 and 1989. He started his professional career in 1989 at Alarko Carrier Industry and Trade Inc., where he worked until 2023. His last position at the company was Director of System Sales. Since 2024, he has been continuing his career as Director of Business Development at Systemair-HSK Inc. He is a member of the METU Alumni Association and the Turkish Society of HVAC & Sanitary Engineers (TTMD), where he served as a Board Member for three terms. He is also a member of Fenerbahçe Sports Club.

Dr. Erdinç Nuri Yıldız
Erdinç N. YILDIZ, who was born in 1974, graduated from METU Mechanical Engineering in 1997 and started working as a researcher in the Structural Mechanics Department at TÜBİTAK-SAGE. He completed his master's degree under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nevzat ÖZGÜVEN in 2000, and his doctoral study under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Bülent PLATİN in 2007. He founded the Mechatronics Department at TÜBİTAK-SAGE in 2002 and served as its manager until he left in 2012. During this period, he took an active role in the development of ground-to-ground and air-to-ground missiles. He founded his own company with his partners in 2012. With this company, he continues to perform design and production activities for the defense and aviation industry.
