The article titled "Autonomous tracking of honey bee behaviors over long-term periods with cooperating robots", of which Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Emre Turgut is one of the authors of our department, was published in "Science Robotics", one of the most distinguished journals in the field. In the article, a large number of data collected by the robotic system developed to observe and examine the behavior of honey bees using robotic and artificial intelligence technologies and their initial analysis results were shared.
The developed robotic system has enabled the collection of various data in the hive instantly and continuously, with high accuracy and for long periods of time, for the first time, and with the analysis of these data with artificial intelligence technologies, the results of 23 different behavior patterns, which can also be described as the "Basic Behavioral Measure" of bees, have been reported.
